I posted once before on a new antivirus information website I'm creating. It's going to go on www.antisource.com. I requested ideas from people about what type of content they'd like to see. thanks for the responses.

Now I want an idea on the design of the site. Color scheme... graphical layout... logo...

I have writer's block.

Edit:

Okay, so now I have the layout started. Go to AntiSource.com - comments and suggestions are appreciated.

just go into frontpage or some html editor and start messing around with tables and different color schemes. and go through and look at other websites for inspiration. Once you have a layout or template for you're website go bakc and start trying to get graphics and colors and everything else.

i know its really hard though -- i've been trying to update my webpage (www.rallispec.net) for sometime now but cant really decide on how i want it to look. This summer i'll have more time to work on it.

I need to clarify:

I already do webdesign. But thanks for the advice anyway. :)

On AntiSource.com right now is one of my designs for ForthChip.com, which is another domain I owned a few years ago. I'm currently webmastering HawgBuster.com and renovating it Here.

My wife graduated with a degree in Printing and Publishing, I asked her for some ideas last night and she provided some great insight. See wants a Red and Cream colored scheme with like bacteria-looking bugs in the background. :D I guess that's what I'm going to do. I'll check back with y'all after the initial layout is made.

Somewhat difficult to tell right now due to the current lack of content, but it looks like it has potential. If you're going for a site with a lot of visitors and a lot of information, I would probably try and keep the graphic intensity down and not use too much in the way of fancry graphics, Flash, etc. I'd stick more with things generated through CSS, etc. Stuff that's fast-loading and whatnot.

yea content is going to be hard to come by at first... most everything is probably going to start out as links to other sites. I don't think Norton's cleaning tools are redistributable, it would be awesome if they were. I spent 6 months evaluatin AV for my firm, took a lot of work because there aren't any sites that provide all the necessary resources in one spot... that's when I came up with the idea to do this.

So layout looks good?
