Ideas for forum additions!

These are just musings, so no, they don't exactly belong in forum issues...but what do you think would make a useful/fun addition to the forums software?

To me...for a start, I'd say it would be nice to enable smilies in thread titles. 🙂

Custom icons for everyone.

Porn and such would be a non-issue, ban 'em real quick, and no problems.

Also, some sort of live chat room would be nice, but i see a few problems with that idea already.

There are 100,000 people registered here, can you imagine the nightmare of policing that?

Both features are already in fusetalk, but AT chooses to disable them - A wise decision.

I like those.

I'll add "Auto-Icon Replacement". Punishment for users whose posts employ more cursing (creative or otherwise) than constructive content. Icon would be replaced with a recognizable "dunce" or "idiot" type icon to denote that particular users' inability to be a productive member of society. 😀

I remember once that Zuni said that FT had that option but it really hurts forum performance on a site this big.
