Ideal memory for Conroe chip

I am trying to figure out what kind of memory would be best to use in conjunction with the not-yet released Conroe desktop chips. If I wanted to use DDR2, what would be the best speed? Is there a better memory option? Are there potential problems with using DDR2 with this chip? Thanks for any information.

Well you'll definatly need DDR-2, it's extremely unlikely their will be any Conroe motherboards will support any other type of memory. I would probably use DDR2-667.

Intel has listed the Conroe FSB speed to be 1333 Mhz. Does this mean anything in terms of RAM speeds? Is there a significant advantage to using DDR2-800 over DDR2-667?

Only the extreme edition is supposed to have 1333 FSB, the normal ones will have 1066 FSB.
