Idea ...

I think it would be a nice touch if AT subscribers were ID'd as such in their profiles...

Any way to give 2 titles? ie - Platinum Member and AT Subscriber? I think that would be another effective selling gimmick for the service.

My dos centavos.

It's been discussed a bit before. If I remeber correctly, the general concensus was to leave things as is so that no claims of "favoritism" would be made. Also, I personally don't see much added value in another title/indicator that shows someone has, or has not, subscribed.

I echo what Hossenfeffer said. There should be no distinction made between subscribers and non-subscribers, it would only lead to problems of mods getting accused of favouring subscribers when it comes to locks/bans etc.

Actually, it's a little more helpful when PM'ing someone a link within the forums. If they're not a subscriber, I have to edit my links to read forums. instead of subscriber. I do this for all links I type now, because subscribers get forwarded.

I think it'd be neat if we subscribers had the ability to change the title under our names. I'd love to have "Secret Agent" or "007" under mine 🙂

I don't know why, but I'm more comfortable trading with subscribers in the fs/t forum than non ones. I think in there it would be usefull (shows atleast some amount of effort on there part, and if they troll Anandtech itself with their credit card registration, I'm sure they will be quickly gone 😉)
