How about adding the number of views to a thread's description (on the threads listing page).

It works, and it is a feature present in FuseTalk, but these forums are SO HUGE that it puts waaaaaay too much a burden on the servers🙁 It's a nice idea that a lot of other people have asked for too, but it's just too much of a load on the servers.
