IDE HDD USB Dock?

I got an old IDE HDD laying around that I'd like to be able to hook up to a computer for storage. I would prefer to have some sort of dock but not sure if they exist for IDE drives....saw a lot for SATA.

If a device doesn't exist then I can always got the external case route.

Thanks!

No such docks for IDE because IDE drives don't have a standard location of the power and data connectors. Also, of course, Windows XP and later doesn't know how to hot-swap IDE drives without help from special software and hardware.

Ah that blows. Guess I'll have to go the ole external case route. Thanks for the reply.
