IDE and SATA

Can i have both SATA and IDE activated? meaning both of them have HD connected to it in one computer?

I am currently running 2 IDE drives (slave and master) and 1 SATA drive as a data drive. No problems at all.

Same as above, booting from a Raptor, using a Seagate IDE drive for backup.

As am I, using a PCI SATA card, and the onboard IDE.
