ID3 v1 & v2 batch tagger

While ripping and encoding my MP3 collection, I have learned the value of ID3 tags. Unfortunately, going between EAC and RazorLAME, the tags weren't always added.

Is there a decent tagger program (preferable freeware) for Windows or Linux that can handle batch tagging of ID3 v1 & v2?

To give you an idea, here's the directory-filename scheme I use:

Artist - Album (Year) / Track# Song Title.mp3

not freeware, but there is a demo version availbe (30day)
well worth the registration fee. I've used it to retag 1000's of mp3s
 
That is an excellent program, but I'm past my eval. I would buy it, but I'm thinking that I'll only need to run it one more time. :/
