My problem isn't so bad that it stops my from being productive, but it is disruptive enough to frustrate the hell out of me.
My first problem has to do with when I right-click anything on the desktop. Each time I do so, the A: drive scans for a disk. It take a second longer than usual to access what I want. Does anyone know how to keep it from doing so?
My second problem is when I'm in My Computer, and I click to open the hard drive, or disk drives. Each time I get a window popping up that lets me know that there isn't a disk in the D: drive.
I get a combo on both faults when I open the explorer with the windows-E key combo.
I wouldn't complain about it if I were getting similar results in my other OS's. However, on a seperate hard drive with Win2k (I've got two HD slide trays), I never experience the same problems. Does anyone have an idea to what the problem is? Someone suggested installing TweakUI, but removing them from my explorer isn't the answer that I'm looking for.
