I'll second that. He doesn't contribute too often to OT, but when he does his posts are extremely insightful.

Has anyone that has been nominated for Elite, been made Elite? I can't recall one but I am old and feeble.

I'd have to agree with that statement (unfortunately). I try not to invoke excitement or anger in my posts. However I was really trying for #1 in this dictionary.com definition of dullard, "n 1: a person who is not very bright: 2: a person who evokes boredom"

I'm sad to report Barney Rubble is no longer with us. It was a sad day that Barney left Anandtech, and we all miss him. Unfortunately though, his small bird-like dinosaur computer power supply is ill, and thus cannot run around in a hampster wheel generating power for Barney to go online. Maybe if we all endorce Barney's Elite status nomination, it will encourage that bird to get better. We can pray and hope. Then Barney Rubble will be able to go online once again, and return triumphant to Anandtech.
