Big time awesomeness for $23 on Steam. You get Quake 1-3 with all expansions, Doom 1-3 with all expansions, heretic, hexen 1 and 2, Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D and expansion, RCTW and a couple more. It's a friggin steal.

Its tempting, because its so easy. I have bought all of those games, and still have most on CD, but I just wouldnt play them. As much as I played Q2 long ago, there isnt enough people to play it. And the SP just sucked.

The price is a steal, I just wouldnt get my moneys worth. :/

What makes me a little pissed is I have owned ALL of those titles over the years but all have been lost in the shuffle. I have to say steam is great for forgetful and disorganised people like me.

Yes, those CD keys in the jewl cases are a pain in the butt.

I must admit I never played the sequel to the original Hexen, which I liked a lot. I played all of the others, but still... I might get it just for Hexen 2, heh, I'm not sure, I'll think about it while it lasts.

no quake 4? steam doesn't even seem to have quake 4 at all...

$23 would be a good deal if I hadn't already played most of those games and became bored with them.

Nope. The best game is not in the pack. But for 23 bucks its still a good deal. Also, Quake 2 and expansions and Q1 and expansions all used CD audio for the music. Without the CD's you wont be hearing any music, which kinda screws up the effect.
And: If Doom 3 wont play because of a key code issue, you are supposed to load up the expansion first, close it, then load Doom 3. It will have locked in the code and you can play.
