There's still alot of machines out there who's owners THINK they're doing RC5, when in reality they're munching away at invalid OGR stubs.

Another brick in the wall toward communicating with our membership. 🙂

[edit] misspelled word (I hate that)

yeah, ive thought that before, we took a huge dive when OGR kicked in, this is another reason for the newsletter. Those guys who dont come by the Forums probably have no idea!

Wait a minute... didn't dnet fix their keyservers to turn away client versions that would process the invalid stubs? I know they fixed the pproxies, so it would make sense that they fixed their own keyservers, as well. So, unless those people out there that had the old client versions picked up enough OGR stubs to last more than two months in their original grab, it's doubtful that there are too many out there.

I guess a good way to tell if dnet fixed their keyservers is to see how well the PHF adjusted once OGR started. Did anyone here have their PHF blocks stop once OGR started, and then start up again a week or so afterward?

Yea, this was the original reason why I dropped out of RC5. It was too much of a pain to re-train my herd to RC5... 🙁

But I got the bug again! 🙂 So RC5 here I come!
