I thought I'd put this in cooling as it's more relevant.
I have an ICY DOCK RAID enclosure which has an 80x20mm fan that has a great repertoire in 'clonka-clonka-clonka' noises. I'd like to get rid of it.
First problem is of course that it's a 20mm fan. However this enclosure has a fairly substantial finger guard on top of the fan - so I believe I can just slip a 25mm fan in there without too much trouble, and maybe buy or make a thin guard.
The second issue is the small two-pin connector. Not sure where I'd get these from.
Could someone point me to a suitable fan for silencing it by a significant degree?
