uhh you have the IC name right? like LM393 or whatever?

do a part number search on the website and download the datasheet.

scroll down until you find the specified temperature range?

That crossed my mind. Is there a way to know by the writing on the chip? Iv compared the temp ranges from the data sheet to the writing on the chips and i didn't seem to find any relationship (except minimal change in the way theyer writen), therefore im gonna assume that you can't.

Thanks for your help

Hmm. I don't know the answer to your question, but I visited their plant in Maine last summer. Pretty cool stuff!

The chips actually have the temperature ranges printed on the outside of the package? What kind of IC is this?

Ah PM just answered my question. Yea i was just curious is there a way to know the temp ranges just by looking at the IC. Thank :)
