ICS with Win2K Server only works when im logged in :( ???

Ive just set up my server to ICS a dial up connection via the tab on the dial up properties.
Works great while im logged into the server as admin, and the dial up triggers no matter which PC on my lan tries to connect to the internet via lan.
Trouble is, as soon as i log out of the server, none of the clients can trigger the dial up??? <confused>
I have to log in via TS and keep the remote session active for ICS dialup activation to work 🙁
It appears as if ICS in Win2K cannot run as a background service - is this true?
Is there a way round this?

Any help be much appreciated,

rockhard =)

I had the same exact problem when I was using ICS with a modem. I never found a solution, but you can try this: Don't log out, instead hit ctrl+alt+del, then select "Lock Computer" from the dialog box. It's effectively the same thing as logging out, except you're the only one who can unlock the computer.
