ICS w/ PCI DSL modem

I am setting up a computer for a friend that shares a DSL connection through ICS, and have come across a weird problem. The problem is, whenever I install ICS and restart the computer, I cannot do anything on the internet. I can connect fine, but I can't access any sites or check e-mail. This also happens on the client computer.

I use DUN to connect so I think it is PPPoA. Then when I uninstall to try to remedy the problem, I can use the internet again. What's the problem here? Should I try a PPPoE client?

I also just had this problem, and I checked in Control Panel/Internet Options and noticed that under the Connections tab, in the Sharing section, there was no adapter selected as the one the computer used to connect to the internet. This has to be after ICS is installed. I selected the adapter, rebooted, and everything was fine.
