ICS Problem

I was recently using a win2k box with a dsl connection to share my internet connection to a windows me box. But whenever i shut down the ME box and restart it after a couple of hours, i can't log onto the internet, unless i restart the 2k box. So i thought...maybe i should just use win2k on both boxes. But that didn't fix the problem. Somebody help me

i ICS on 26.4 so i heres what i do:

1) server:

ip - 192.168.0.1
subnet - 255.255.255.0

2)client

ip - 192.168.0.2
subnet - 255.255.255.0
gateway - 192.168.0.1
dns - 192.168.0.1

both are win2k. now, do you have a router? probably not since it doesnt work. so im assuming ur using 2 nic configuration. right click the dsl lan connection-> sharing and enable "share this connection" or you can manually set it to the server settings above. im not sure about 2 nic configs though, only did it once at a lan. other peoples have routers uplinked into my 16 switch. =). aim for help. sn in profile.
