ICS, Internet Connection Sharing Problem

I have 2 computers. they are networked, Peer 2 Peer.
The 1st one, connects to the internet through a modem.
The 2nd one, I want to use it to share the connection with the 1st one. How do I do this using ICS?
The 1st one has 98SE, the 2nd has WinME. Here are the current network config for the 1st one, and the 2nd one.
the 1st Computers IP is 192.168.0.1 and the 2nd is 192.168.0.2

Have you done a search in Windows Help files? They should have all the instructions you'll need since I remember going through the process myself w/ multiple win98 computers on a network sharing a internet connection.

Make sure each computer sees each other on the network first, then do ICS 🙂 Good luck and take your time and think things through.

Networking rocks!

You need to install ICS on the first computer, don't install it on the second computer. This page explains how to install it. You need to uninstall Dial-up Networking from the second computer then set it up to use the modem from the first computer. This page does a pretty good job of explaining how to do that. Good luck!
