Hi people, I have 3 com connected via hub, with the one using win2k connected to the cable modem directly.
My other com thus have a auto assign internal IP each.

But recently, I wanted to host games like Diablo2 and Counterstrike on my gaming machine (one of the com sharing and have internal ip).

Question is : How I host? Since its IP is internal IP...

i think ics was only including in win2k advance server and winme. they left it out of win2k because it was only suppose to be a client os.

It's there, I'm trying not to fall back on it now.. :) I payed for Winproxy, and can't get it working.. bah.

Anyway, go to network properties, and doubleclick on the card you want to do the sharing (I think, haven't tried this). I assume this wont have to be the card actually on the net, if you have two like me.

There's a Properties button, then a 'sharing' tab.

ICS is also a service you can run/stop... mine wasn't going by default, so i'm not sure if it will fire up on it's own.

Hope I helped...

Grr can't stand winproxy. You'll have more luck with sygate. easier to configure and get running. But how do you host games through proxies?

I don't host games anyway...

Also, I was wrong. Enable ICS on the card with the net connection, and it messes with the card on the backend, works surprisinly well.

I loved WinProxy.. after using WinGate that is... :)

You'd prbably have to do some kind of port forwarding. *sigh* If only you were using Linux, I'd be able to tell you how to set it up... are there port forwarding options in the ICS properties?
