I am trying to setup my server do alot of things but i have to also share my dsl connection too. I have/can setup dhcp, wins, and dns but i dont know how to share the connection. Any help?

to share the connection, you need two NICs... one to the WAN and one to the LAN... pop both of them in, install them... the one that's connected to WAN has a tab in properties that allows you to share connection, in which case the LAN nic becomes a Class C IP and leases out internal IP addresses to the machines.

It's pretty straightforward but first meet the minimum requirement which is to have two network cards installed in the sharing box.

either will work fine, but you'd need a 3rd party program to do the nat and/or proxying if you want to use nt4

to share connection in win2k it's pretty simple.
just go to network connections in control panel and click on your dsl/cable connection. if you have a lan you will see lan connection 1 and lan connection 2. it is more than likely that lan connection 1 is your internet connection. however, to make sure, right click, click on properties and check to see which network card is in the dialog box. if it's not your cable/dsl card, then your other connection is your internet connection.
click on the second tab once you are in your dsl/cable connection properties and check the box that says share this connection.

that should do the trick.
