I have a desktop with dialup connection. I just got a laptop with wireless capabilities. I bought a Belkin wireless router thinking I could use it to connect to the internet with my laptop. The ;aptop recognizes the LAN when I conect the desk top inti the route in WAn port., but the desktoop tells me the LAN wire is unplugged. When I plug the desktop into one of the client ports the LAN says it is connected but the ;aptop can not find a connection. What am I missing?
