Is there a way i can use internet connection share from WinME to Win2k? I know that Win2k and Win2k works together but i had to turn my host win2k machine into WinME and i wanted to share my internet like like before.

Is this setup at all possible?
If so, how do you go about making it work?

Use Sygate or Wingate. My previous experiences with the windows ICS on WinME is that you can't host anything at all from the host computer. This includes DCC sends, some FTPs, game servers (such as hosting d2) and a variety of other weird things. Using some proxy software like Sygate allows you to do that and it takes up next to no system resources.

ICS works fine. Put 2 NICS in the ME machine and 1 in the 2K machine. To turn on ICS jsut go into my network places and use the connection wizard. Make sure the NIC you are sharing is the one that is connected to your internet. Set the 2k machine to use DHCP or set its IP to 192.168.0.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.0.1

Very simple to do and it works fine.
