ICS and Evo 3D

I hear ICS will come to the Evo 3D, but does anyone know if it will have the HTC Sense on top of it? If so, is there a way to disable it and run the stock ICS interface?

Yes, it will come with Sense. Because if HTC can't upgrade to a new version + Sense, they typically don't release the upgrade.

The only way to run stock, AFAIK, will be to get a custom ROM, like CM9 or something, for your device.

I think this is the question every HTC owner is wondering.

It would suck if they did, I hated Sense on my old Hero, which probably isn't the best comparison. I am sure Sense is a lot better today.

Been running a beta rom from xda forums for almost 2 weeks now. Incredibly stable, not everything works but it's great. I'm using joelz version, FYI..

The leaked ICS ROMs from HTC all have Sense (version 3.6) so far. I'm going to wait for CM9 since I think stock ICS is finally better than Sense.

Why do you think HTC, Moto, and Samsung are all taking their time with ICS? They need to work in their various custom skins/apps/features.

Yeah I'm sure that's the issue. No way I'd go with their version. I've had it with stock roms....

I just meant stock as in what came with the phone, all that extra crap. right now i think it's just a vanilla ICS, which is fine by me.
