I have a Tyan Tiger 133 mobo that has the Award BIOS 1.05 and also i am running Windows 2000. I was wondering if anyone knows how to manually put in ICQs or change them so that two cards dont share the same number.

Or any adive on the this matter, cause My video card and my NIC card has the same Number. However if i put the NIC somewhere else on my PCI slot, the video card gets a ICQ # of 10....which does not like and freezes on me...

thanks

I think your talking IRQ's. With todays systems it is almost impossible to give each device in your computer it's own IRQ, unless you don't have anything in your computer except a video card. At least one device will almost always be shareing an IRQ. The key is to get devices that work together well to share the IRQ. IRQ manipulation isn't easy because both the bios and the OS are trying to assign IRQ's, changing one devices IRQ can affect all of the devices in your system. You can try and disable ACPI in win2k to give you more control over IRQ's. You can disable unused devices to give you more IRQ's(unused com ports, usb, LPT ports, etc.).
