Now this poll is for the question at hand...... That means if you don't use one of the 3 mentioned formats in the poll, gtf out of here! There is no variable answer here. Read and Answer= Simple!

MAIN service? The one you use the most?

Between 98-2001.. ICQ.. 2001-6 MSN, with sprinkles of AIM along the way for the girls I would meet in Hawaii. Most used AIM.

Though the functionaliy of both ICQ, AIM and YIM suck compared to MSN now.. theres just no comparison.

I sometimes sign into ICQ for fun, but saying 'can I have your ICQ number?' then trying to memorize all of those digits really sucked.

AIM since most of the people I know use it. Yahoo for some, and ICQ for those I know who live in Europe as it seems to be the mainstream over there.

Basically, but I prefer Trillian.

Nothing wrong w/ trillian.

When I was looking for a multiclient solution I tried GAIM but for some reason that I don't remember I either couldn't get it to work right or it didn't have a feature I wanted so I tried Trillian and never looked back since it did everything I needed. Maybe I will try it again.

if you try it, I recommend picking up the 1.5.0 stable build. I don't really like the version 2 betas (but you might <shrug>)

I use everything but AIM costantly. AIM I use rarely. If AOHELL haden't bought ICQ, it would win by 2349572346827364823749832758923492836598263%. As it is, I use MS the least, just because it's MS.

Of course, I don't really use any of the programs, I use Trillian. I'm talking purely about the networks.

Icq was really good before the bloated wares, offline messaging is essential. The classmates I studied with all used MSN, so I've adjusting to MSN from ICQ.

Yahoo has offline messaging and voice offline messaging.

MSN, but not by choice. I'd prefer Yahoo; offline messages > song title as a personal message
