ICQ Question

Hi,

When a person tries to add me to there ICQ list... I want ICQ to ask me if its ok or not.

Can this be done in ICQ? If so where is it?

What version of ICQ do you have?

Try going to Security - there you should be able to turn that option on. In ICQ 200a it's under Security - General. And it's the second option.

Yep, I'm not sure which version you're running, but check under your security and privacy preferences.

Go to your preferences and make authorization required. It might vary what it's under depending on yoru version.

Select "my authorization is required before users add me to their user list" option. It should be under security and privacy options.

When you first sign up for a ICQ account, you will also be given that option.
