ICQ Question: What to do with a 6 digit UIN?

I have a 6 digit UIN (starts with 2) and it's been a few years since I used ICQ. What should I do with it? I checked on eBay, and I saw 2 auctions going for $20, but I don't think I'd want to sell it for $20 as the number has some nostalgic value. Is there anyway I can make sure the number isn't "stolen" by someone else... is that even possible? I know on AIM, if a screenname goes unused for a period of time, its owner loses it. Does such a thing happen with UINs? Thanks!

I have a 6 digit that begins with 1

I don't think they're worth anything in dollar value.

I got mine free from a dear friend. :)
