Can't log on with ICQ2003...yellow flower. Autodetected connect ports fine several times, but never connects.
ICQ Lite works fine via web browser. Anyone else? All other IM's working here, btw. ZoneAlarm turned off just to test that theory; no difference.
 
NM...just upgraded to latest 2003 version (3916...looks like ICQ Lite interface), and now it connects. Go figure...
 
Other than its bloated tendencies (which at least they have addressed, somewhat, giving you options as to what features to install or not), ICQ was the trendsetter for IM's. Unfortunately, big bad AOL got a hold of it, and, like Netscape, did its magic. But, that's where many of my older contacts are, primarily.
