ICQ Database questions...

Hey,
Well I'm wondering, does anyone know how to covert an ICQ2000a database back to ICQ99b? I'm sick of ICQ2000a and all of it's banners and want to go back to 99b, if anyone can help me out that would be great.

As far as I know, ICQ database are not backwards compatible... so you can't convert 2000a DB back to 99x DB... sorry...

no, you can not do this...not by anyway i know anyway. if you figure it out, let me know. i hate the 2000 series of icq too. its too bloated!

what banners are you talking about? i dont have any banners. i was using 2000a, but i am now using 2000b, because of a HDD crash and i couldn't find an older version. in 2000b, while it has all the extra crap you dont need, i have disabled it all, and my window now looks exactly the same as it used to in the 99x versions. the only exception is a small logo saying "icq 2000b" which is no more than 15 pixels high. sure it might use more memory/space, but that hasn't been an issue for me.

When you go to send a file in 2000a there's a banner at the bottom, and overall, I prefer the 99x series, I don't even know why I upgraded... oh well.. looks like I can't really revert back to good ol' 99b

I got sick of the 2000 series so I went back to 99. Had to start all over again but its worth it. There is just too much I don't use in the 2000 series.

i like 2000b much more than 2000a, try updating and see if you like it better...
