HOW?!?!

damn... I spent the last 2 hours scouring the 'net looking for the proper port mappings for the ICQ file transfer function but I can't find anything!!! :-/

First, I opened up 20000 to 20009 and I had a friend try to transfer a file to me.

The file worked and I thought... great!
but the second file didn't work.
and the third failed too.

So I looked around and it told me to try port forwarding on ports 20000 thru 20019 so I expanded the range
now i can't transfer anything!!

ack.

Anyone have any experience with ICQ file transfers thru a NAT router?

Thanks,
Eric

The port for ICQ file transfer is dynamic so it changes every time. Mine works fine through a Cisco 675 router.

I think it works if only 1 person is behind a gateway, but not if both are.
