ICQ advert in mesg window???!!

Anyone using ICQ 2000b .. suddenly have their messages window with adverts attached at the bottom?? Whats going on?? How to get rid of it??

check the technical support forum. theres a thread there and i believe some people have successfully removed the message window ads completely.

well.. I killed mine after that SMS button start appears.. I haven't get the ads to pop up at the bottom yet. basically you'll need to edit the registry so ICQ won't *phone home* to check for updates...

Nothin here either "YET". I have ICQ 98, 99, 2000a on hand just in case of emergency though
