i am using icq 2000b. with the new icq every message dialogue is like a chat, with a "previous message window" and a "typing window".
let's say i am talking to more than one person. i finish typing and sent the message to guy 1, and starts typing on the "typing window" for guy 2. when icq finishes sending the message for guy 1 (so that i message i just sent to him appears in the "previous message window" for him), the active window would simply jump to the guy 1 window, totally disregarding the fact that i am still typing a message for guy 2. so lots of text meant for guy 2 now appears in guy 1's "typing window". i have to delete them, alt-tab to go back to guy 2, and retype all those "mis-teleported" text.
that is so irritating!
anyone knows how to stop this irritating feature of icq? maybe some preference setting i forgot to turn on or off?
