Why? You can remove the ads/crap from ICQ2000b. Actually, SonOfZeuz who is an AT member has (IMO) the best util for this.

I like 99a...I've been using it for a while, and I can't get use to the new crap-infested versions

ICQ won't let you login with 99a. I tried desperately, you have to resort to 2000a or 2000b
