Icons gone in Start menu

Ever since I remotely connected to my PC from work, the icons for IE and Outlook in the XP Start menu are gone. It just shows the little page graphic that it uses when an icon is missing. I've tried unchecking and rechecking them in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties but when they come back they still have the same page graphic. Oddly enough, when I remotely connect from work, however, the icons show fine.

How can I get these back?

Maybe try the Repair Icons in TweakUI? Just a shot in the dark...
