Pre-ordered, hopefully here in a few days, which should give me time to crack open my PS3 and give it a good dusting. That thing has been howling ><

I played a bit of Chains of Olympus, and the worst part about it is how the graphics look like they came from the PS1 and they added a bit of anti-aliasing. An enemy's arm literally consists of two cylindrical shapes. :p I understand that they're $20 a piece, but there are a few games for $20 (original MSRP) such as Torchlight, and they look significantly better.

All in all, I don't feel cheated or anything, but it's really easy to notice the low polygon count in models, which would have been necessary on the PSP.

Oh, one other annoyance. There's a menu at the beginning to select Chains of Olympus or Ghost of Sparta. I wanted to poke around Ghost of Sparta for kicks, but none of the buttons that I pressed on the Chains of Olympus main menu would take me back. :(

Took down the first two colossi (colossuses?) and they still look pretty damn good even today. The environment textures and the main character look a little dated but that's to be expected.

Controls are a little slippery but I think they always were, it's been a while. Driving the horse definitely takes some getting used to again.

I'm actually hoping I don't remember how to down all the colossuses right off the bat lol, the first two were real pushovers, but that's also the first two.

It's got me all fuzzy on the inside though anyway, makes me really look forward to the FFX remaster too.

Man, this update is pretty damn good. I finished SOTC in one sitting. I remembered all the tactics. Love the HD, now I can see the damn lizards and grab their tales. Halfway thru Ico. Picked up the games on saturday. Now, if only the HDed FF8/9

Still haven't had time to sit down and play through, but I did get to play a bit of ICO. While the graphics aren't as smooth/modern as other games, they are pretty beautiful. Had fun with it.

Darn BF3 eating up the little gaming time I have.

glad you posted this, forgot it was on sale there. saw it on slickdeals earlier this week but it was all sold out everywhere, and now it's back in stock. will probably swing by tomorrow and grab it.

i cancelled my amazon order because god of war was out of stock and it wasn't shipping until that was in stock, since i ordered them together.

You couldn't just select, "ship my items when they become available"?
