Hey all, it is embarrassing to ask this, but is there any way to restore/reinstall iChat on a Macbook?

My GF and I use it all the time, but while I was at her place, I must have accidentally deleted it (the only thing I can think of is I put the icon that was on the desktop in the recycle bin, thinking it was a shortcut...now it is not in applications folder or anywhere according to spotlight....and yes, I had emptied the recycle bin already, argh).

I am not with her now, but I asked her if she had the OS disk that she got when the latest OSX upgrade came out, but she is not sure.....is there anywhere you can download iChat from Apple?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I know that using the install disks and pacifist you can reinstall things like that.. as far as getting them from Apple's website.... i'm not sure. Another option you have is to simply copy it from your system to hers, assuming you are both running the same version of OS X.

heh, unfortunately I am running an older laptop with winxp. Her brother, however, runs the same version of OSX (they got the family pack upgrade)....in theory could he attach iChat to an email and send it (unless it is like hundreds of megs obviously)?
