I am trying to boot a computer I recently built (DFI RD600 Gaming rig Stage 1 in my rigs)
and it auto powers down around 10-15 seconds after start up. Everything before that is fine. When I press DEL to enter setup, I get a Promise FastTrack TX4310 BIOS (etc.)
screen that says "Searching for drives..." and then "No array found. " I would go into the BIOS if I could (if this screen wasn't there and if it didn't power down almost immediately). Also on the POST screen it says CMOS Checksum error - defaults loaded. I cleared the CMOS by EZ reset buttons and the jumper -- hasn't gone away. I doubt the CMOS is causing this behaviour though. Please help! Any ideas before RMA?
