Both are good, unlike slush puppies which are HORRIBLE. I can eat ice cubes with a hint of flavor after I finish my soda for free, thanks.

I was talking with a 7-11 owner once and he mentioned that although there are specially formulated syrups made for the slurpee machines, that you can hook up any fountain drink syrup to the machine.

He had Dr. Pepper Slurpees that day.

I wonder how a Code Red slurpee would be...

They used to do those around here a couple of years ago. Trust me, it is the king of all slurpees. I keep bugging all the 7-11's around here to do it again.

I remember seeing them around here when Code Red came out....

You could always make your own, by mixing Mt. Dew and Cherry... Not exactly the same but still good. :)

The best mix I had was a Sprite and Cherry mix.

I apologize if this is off subject. And I see this threads been dead for a very long time. It's still pertains to Slurpee, but this was the only forum or source where I felt I had a chance finding what I need.
A friend of mine and I are doing research for Slurpee Machines. We need a diagram of the assembly of an ICEE Slurpee machine.
I searched high and low, but I havent had any luck. Even finding one of a generic slurpee/slushee machine is vague and difiult to find.
I found
THIS
and
THIS

We'd really prefer having one of the 7-Elevens ICEE slurpee machines.
We know its probably propriatory and probably patent, but we have no desire/plans to use any images other than for research.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

The Slurpee machines are better in Canada than in American 7-11's. I am American and I am ashamed of this fact. I have been to multiple 7-11's in Canada and both produced better slurpee's.
