Sure. Lots of places will rent one. Check the Yellow Pages. I highly doubt the $100/day will be worth the 3 or 4 icees you will consume, though. Good luck, icee man!
Asian supermarkets usually sell hand powered shaved ice machines. That would probably work for your Slushee consumption needs.
oops, your from Nashville eh? It'd probably be easier for you to rent one then find an Asian supermarket.
this is along the same lines as soft serve ice cream machines. my fathers business sells and services this type of stuff. even if you could afford the machine, i doubt you would want to pay for stuff you would throw out. like with the ice cream machines you have mixes that have to be thrown out at the end of the cycle if it isnt eaten, cant just leave that stuff in there. icee machines probably do the same thing with their mix. it's good for about a day and that's it. i had a snoopy one like the guy above mentioned, good stuff
Icees are not made with shaved ice. The liquid is poured into a machine that turns it and chills it, eventually freezing the water in it into tiny ice particles. That's why they're so much smoother than similar drinks made with shaved ice. What you need is a daiquiri machine, but those cost up to several thousand dollars. My uncle has one, and let me tell you, it makes the most amazing frozen margaritas on the planet!
EDIT: You could also look to see if any convenience stores that sell Icees or restaurants that have frozen drinks are going out of business in your area, and try to buy their machine(s) off them cheap.
