iced coffee machine for the home?

im addicted to these iced coffees that 7 eleven sells. does anyone know of a machine that makes these for the home? or a simple guide on how to make them at home?

Tirani syrup (probably vanilla), your favorite flavor of coffee, coffe pot/maker, cream, ice.

Personally, I think McD's Vanilla Iced coffee kills all others.

Iced coffee is typically brewed stronger than regular coffee, so if you asre going to do it in a pot, make it about 1/3 stronger.

The other option is to cold brew it. Make a cheese cloth bag, fill with lots of ground coffee. Put into some type of caontainer full of water (and a little vanilla extract if you like), let sit in fridge for 24-48 hours based on desired strength.

I think it would be better to put said coffee maker in the freezer to make coffee.

Too many steps for you, huh, OP? I know how you feel. Why can't there be a taco machine?

Look just get a 2 quart plastic jug.
Dump 1 cup of coffee in.
Fill the 2 quarts with water.
Stir.
Sit in fridge overnight (8 hours).
Strain through cheese cloth or fine mesh strainer.
Toss in some milk, chocolate syrup, ice cubes, whatever.


Tastes much better this way then brewing hot then icing.

I just made my own iced coffee for the first time and decided to report my experience.

I just so happened to have a bottle of bailey's mint chocolate. (nothing wrong with liquor early in the morning... right?)

filled a tall glass to the rim with ice. Filled about 4/5 with coffee (from coffee maker).. then topped off with baily's.

Overall, It's pretty good. It could do with some whipped cream and maybe some hershey chocolate or something.. it's missing a little bite.. but close.
