ICEBERQ 4 Pro ?

I'm thinking of getting this for my 9800 Pro. Anyone got experience with it?

Also do you know if I can plug it directly in the card for power?

Thanks,
-JC

guess no one knows anything about this cooler. I'm going to get it so I'll report back...

nope... it uses a regular 3 pin mobo header... and i wouldn't get that for your 9800 pro if you have any plans of overclocking.

I doubt it... surface area is too small... even if it is copper.

This one works though... and it uses the power header from the card. Pretty quiet too... 😀 My bro has his 9800 Pro at 420+ ... 🙂

I put an Iceberq4 Pro on a Ti4200 to replace a bad fan on the stock HS. The Iceberq cooled about the same as the stock unit according to my finger test, although I had read tests that showed it cooling a little better. It is high quality, looks real good and is quiet running. The 9800 GPU is surrounded by a "shim" that will keep the HS slightly above the core if the HS is not milled out for this, as is the case with the stock ATI HS. Search around and you will find much info about this "shim" problem and how to correct it.
