I've been watching the ice accumulate on the trees this evening. Forecast is for up to 3/4". I'd estimate there's 1/4" out there now. The birch and ash trees in the yard should be fine. We'll see how the ornamental pears along the street handle it. They're not Bradford Pear trees but they're ornamental pears nonetheless.

It's funny. Before I owned a home with trees, I didn't care about ice storms. Now that I have a bunch of trees, I'd rather the storms hit elsewhere. 😛
