I like hot dogs and soft pretzels. I'd love to sell them at daytime events under a big umbrella. I want to be able to expertly apply ketchup and mustard to these products and I'm willing to spend the time to learn.
But I just saw this company that pimps out ice cream trucks and I'm all sorts of lost.
I mean having kids running after your van, going bat-shit insane waving money has got to be awesome. That's real ultimate power right there. But my daughter would have that stigma of having a dad that's an ice cream man. Sure it's cool when they're young, but what about when she's a teenager? It's not a dig on food vendors, because they can make a career with enough persistence, hard work and a good location.
What are your thoughts? The flexibility of a van, or the value of a cart? Please, no squeeze bacon links.
