Ice Cream Sandwich running on Nexus S

Not as different as I was expecting, but of course final judgement comes when full images released. Looks like it will be styled to go along with the market update, which imo looks quite nice. Seems google might finally be getting into the common design theme.

google would have outdone themselves again if this time they still can't implement the GPU accelerated UI.

If you place more emphasis on changes in how it looks than changes in how it works, you're missing the point entirely. Screenshots tell us nothing about how it works...

Except this is saying that it won't be much different from gingerbread in terms of performance and that ice-cream is mostly UI related. Could be a good thing though if they spend time to not only enhance the UI visually but also take the time to smooth it out and polish it.

My biggest gripe with Android has always been the market. I want to be able to search and sort apps by different categories such as downloads, rating, posted date, price, etc. Seriously, is it that hard (especially for Google, the king of search engines?)?

How-it-works isn't necessarily about performance.
