Unpossible. Conservatives have said that people in detention centers are free to go if they leave the country.

So many fucking lies.

I've even heard that they're running a catch and release. If someone wants to go to a blue state, they just let them go.

Whatever will they invent next?

But I thought Brexit was going to bring our 2 nations closer together???

I wonder how well our international tourism industry is doing under Trump?

1. Personal attacks will no longer be allowed in P&N.
2. This . . . meme . . . has been specifically forbidden by mod edict to be mentioned here again.

There's literally nowhere on the border in that area where you can do this accidently, but this is still a gross overreaction.

Not sure about the US- Canada border but I heard there are still many places where you can cross through easily. Maybe not roads?? Just curious

There are places like this in northern New England and New York, towns that were split down the middle because they fell upon an invisible line.

Really?

Along 0 Avenue, Langley BC - America is on the left, Canada is on the right of the powerpole.

You don't think there are small roads and trails off the main road? I've been along that stretch of the BC border (and a few others) and saw both trails and small dirt roads leading off both sides of the main road.

And this

I have no problems with their story at all.

I wonder why the family had to be flown from Seattle, WA to Pennsylvania?

ICE is just getting more like a Gestapo organization every day, it seems. The logical solution would have been to turn the family around, point them in the correct direction, and say "Have a nice day."

This is starting to sound like some of the horror stories of people accidentally crossing into North Korea or Iran.

Probably closer to Mexico's detention. I suggest there are several rungs on this ladder. Below where we should be, but certainly not rock bottom... yet.

Family was obviously a bunch of terrorists.
Wait, no... I have that backwards. We... are the bad guys?
Family should be immediately reunited and released with apologies and compensation for mistreatment.

I have no problems with their story at all.

That ditch is 3-4 feet deep.

In the handful of spots where you might not get stuck you’ll be in a field or someone’s yard and be well aware that it isn’t a road.

I’m 100% sure I’m more familiar with the geography than someone that’s been there once.
