IC7+PCI RAID card = Non-boot

First off, I'm not using the onboard SATA controller and will not.

I'm trying to use a PCI Silicon Image 0680-based PATA RAID Controller that worked in 2 of my AMD rigs without issue, but won't in this board no matter the BIOS setup.

Tried turning off IDE 1/enabling SATA/disabling SATA/setting PCI slot card boot, etc. and it will NOT boot off the card.

The card's BIOS appears just fine, I cant start the WinXP setup from the CD, install the card's drivers and repair the windows install (which I'm trying to do since this HD is coming from a 845 chipset-based board) and it repairs it, but after the 1st reboot, nothing.

Hardware is as follows:
P4 2.53Ghz default clock
Abit IC7 BIOS 15 & 17
Koutech Silicon Image 0680 PCI RAID card (Non-RAIDED)
WD 180GB 8MB cache HD
1GB PC3200
Netgear FA311 NIC
(Onboard sound/firewire/SATA disabled)
