ic7 max3 won't turn on anymore !?!?!?

at first it would just beep for 5 seconds over and over now it won't even do that anymore

i tryed clearing the cmos, removing the battery, and unplugging the psu
I even measured the voltage of the battery which was at 3.03v

i just don't get it this is the same way my nf7-s died


I only had it running for 1 full day


any ideas ??

Make sure you reseat video card / ram / processor. Sounds like a component not seated correctly.

Check grounding of motherboard.

May also be a corrupt BIOS chip but I doubt it since it was beeping.

Any holes drilled in the board this time??

no holes in this one although i had to take my dremel to the otes cooling system to fit my heatsink on the board (only took it back a quarter inch) just enough to not be able to return it if the board went out on me


yeah i'm hoping it is the bios
this is like the 4th bios chip i've bought between my nf7-s and ic7 max3


anyone live in san diego that wouldn't mind flashing one of my various corrupted bios chips for me ??

ok i purchased another bios chip for the sucker
it cost me like $23.50

i already have 4 corrupted ones and one fryed one
this is getting expensive

hopefully i'll have a system that is stable long enough for me to hot flash some of these other ones
hope they aren't damaged physically
