IC7-G temp reporting error-correction factor?

Is there a (semi) uniform correction factor to apply to the cpu temps reported by the mb?
I know mine reads high, but how high?

there is a myth goin around that abits older bios report temps too high when in reality the temps reported by the old bios is more accurate than the temps reported in the new bios
