If you look carefully the layout of the "power cooling unit" is different (the OTES thing on the board) and the 12V connector is moved. It is very similar though.
By the way, does IC7 Max3 Bios able to change Vdimm voltage range?
It's basically the same thing... they just moved the mosfets for the OTES...
...and the vdimm voltage goes up to 3.2 from the old 2.8... plus 2 more SATA ports. Maybe minor hardware alteration for the increased voltage but some people flashed their IC7-Gs with the new BIOS and their vidmem voltage range went up to 3.1... don't know how reliable that is though.
Well, I am reading on Abit forums that there is no gain, only fake selection. Here.
What really makes me puke is that my old KD7 has Vdimm selection all the way up to 3.25V.
How come that Abit people reduced this on newer boards so low?
