IC7-G Questions

Couple quick questions. I've got an abit IC7-G mobo. When my computer boots up, it goes to a screen where it says it's looking for my raid setup. I'm not using a raid setup, so after 15 or so seconds, it says not found and finishes the boot up. What do i do so it doesn't look for that? Not that big of deal i guess, but i would rather it not take the extra 15 seconds to look for something i'm not even using. Also, does anyone know anything about the onboard sound? The sound itself is great, but when i use my mic to talk to people, they say they hear a humming only when i talk. Are there drivers i need to update? Or is this a common problem and i should probably buy a soundcard? Any help would be great!!

Go into BIOS, Integrated Peripherals, On chip IDE devices and make sure SATA raid is disabled.

As for the humming noise, no clue.
